September 15, (THEWILL) – Nigerian dancer and entertainer, Iweh Pascal Odinaka, popularly known as Poco Lee, has had his ongoing criminal case in the United Kingdom adjourned to 2027.
Poco Lee appeared at Snaresbrook Crown Court in London on Tuesday, September 15, for a Plea and Trial Preparation Hearing (PTPH). However, the expected plea hearing did not go ahead as planned.
According to reports from the proceedings, prosecutors read out the charges before asking for more time to compile their evidence.
The plea hearing has now reportedly been fixed for February 8, 2027, while the trial is scheduled to begin on March 8, 2027.
The development comes weeks after reports of Poco Lee’s legal troubles in the UK first emerged in August.
There was limited information about the reason for his detention at the time, but the situation became clearer later that month when Snaresbrook Crown Court confirmed that he had been charged with five sexual offences.
The charges include one count of attempted rape, two counts of rape and two counts of assault by penetration. The court also imposed a reporting restriction to protect the identity of the complainant under UK law.

Poco Lee was granted bail on September 11, ahead of his scheduled court appearance. His case remained active despite social media reports suggesting that he had been released and that the matter could have been settled outside court. The Crown Prosecution Service later confirmed that the proceedings were ongoing and that he was due in court on September 15.
Poco Lee has denied the allegations. In a recent social media video, the dancer said he was innocent of the accusations and thanked those who had supported him during the legal process.
The case remains ongoing, and the charges against Poco Lee are allegations that have not been proven in court. He remains legally presumed innocent unless and until he is found guilty.
