The projects, which cut across road infrastructure, healthcare, education and tourism, are scheduled for commissioning between September 1 and 30, 2026.

The Commissioner made the disclosure during the August edition of the Akwa Ibom State Government’s monthly Ministerial Briefing in Uyo, where he outlined the administration’s interventions and achievements in the health sector.

Azare gave the charge yesterday, at a symposium on Effective Crime and Court Reporting, organised by the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Akwa Ibom State Council, in collaboration with the Akwa Ibom State Judiciary, at the Patience (Kemi) Umo Eno Auditorium, NUJ Press Centre, Uyo.

Residents of Abak Road, Nkemba, Tabernacle Road, Oron Road, Ikot Ekpene Road, Ewet Housing Extension, Ukana Offot, Aka Itiam and other areas were forced to confront floodwaters inside their homes. Some residents spent hours trying to rescue belongings while others were left stranded.

The programme, funded by the Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet, targets promising clean energy startups and entrepreneurs within the All On Hub ecosystem, providing them with technical expertise, hands-on development support, mentorship, venture creation training and access to appropriate equipment and fabrication facilities.
