The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM) has protested a directive by the Central Bank of The Gambia ordering banks operating in the country to replace non-Gambian employees with qualified Gambian nationals by December 31, 2026, warning that 57 Nigerian professionals could lose their jobs.

Stewart died at his Los Angeles home on Wednesday, October 28, his spokesperson Kelly Bush Novak confirmed. A statement published on his social media accounts on Thursday said he had been living with Alzheimer’s disease and Lewy body dementia and was in the care of his wife, singer-songwriter Sunny Ozell.
