August 27, (THEWILL) — Nigerian rapper, Odumodublvck, has turned down journalist Rufai Oseni’s invitation to respond to his recent interview with fellow rapper, Blaqbonez.
The development follows a public disagreement between Odumodublvck and Oseni over the journalist’s interview with Blaqbonez on the Nevon HQ podcast.
Odumodublvck had criticised Oseni’s handling of the conversation, accusing him of failing to challenge Blaqbonez on some of the claims he made during the interview.
The rapper also suggested that Oseni may have been paid for the interview and accused Blaqbonez of giving inconsistent accounts. Odumodublvck maintained his allegations against Blaqbonez and said their dispute would ultimately be resolved in court.
During the interview, Blaqbonez discussed the origin of his fallout with Odumodublvck, claiming that their disagreement stemmed from a woman they were both involved with around 2023. He said he was initially unaware that she was also seeing Odumodublvck.

The dispute has since escalated beyond social media, with Blaqbonez filing a ₦2.55 billion defamation lawsuit against Odumodublvck over alleged defamatory and harassing statements.
In response to Odumodublvck’s criticism, Oseni invited the rapper to appear on his platform and present his side of the story.
“Dear Odumodoblvck, this is an invitation to you again to have your right of reply to the interview with blaqbones. We encourage you to you to come say your own side of the story! We will be happy to welcome you!” Oseni wrote.

Odumodublvck, however, has declined the invitation.
Responding on X, the rapper took another swipe at Oseni, this time over the journalist’s spelling of his stage name in the invitation.
“It’s Odumodublvck, sir. You cannot even spell my name right, and you want to talk to me”, he wrote.
“I am so sorry, but you are a terrible journalist, sir. I will go and tell someone else, my bossman.”
Odumodublvck’s response further intensifies his disagreement with Oseni, which began following the journalist’s interview with Blaqbonez.
Despite Oseni’s offer to give him a platform to respond, Odumodublvck has indicated that he would prefer to tell his side of the story elsewhere.
