August 27, (THEWILL) — Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has criticised journalist, Rufai Oseni, over his recent interview with fellow rapper, Blaqbonez, while also calling out music executive, Audu Maikori, over the ongoing dispute.
Blaqbonez recently appeared on Oseni’s Nevon HQ podcast, where he discussed the origin of his disagreement with Odumodublvck.
During the interview, Blaqbonez claimed that their rift began over a woman they were both involved with around 2023. He said he did not initially know that she was also seeing Odumodublvck.
Odumodublvck, however, dismissed the interview, saying it had not changed his position on the matter. He maintained his allegations against Blaqbonez and said the dispute would still be settled in court.
Blaqbonez had previously filed a ₦2.55 billion lawsuit against Odumodublvck over alleged defamation and harassment.
In a series of posts on his Instagram Story, the rapper criticised Oseni for what he described as poor questioning and suggested that the journalist may have been paid to conduct the interview.
“@rufaioseni, maybe you were paid; I do not know, but for a seasoned journalist like yourself to not be able to decode a pathological liar who is also a sexual abuser by fact was appalling to watch. This is not how you grill them Amaechi and Wike o!” he wrote.
Odumodublvck also accused Blaqbonez of giving inconsistent answers during the interview, claiming that the rapper “told five lies in two minutes” and describing it as a “new world record” for him.
He further criticised Oseni for asking questions that, according to him, did not receive complete answers because Blaqbonez allegedly avoided some of them.
The rapper also directed his criticism at Audu Maikori, a Nigerian music executive and the founder of Chocolate City, Blaqbonez’s record label, accusing him of protecting an alleged sexual abuser.
“@audumaikori you just helped me create awareness for the matter like I hoped. Your artist is a sexual abuser and no matter the lies and smear campaign you have waged against me to hide the rat in the cupboard, he will never escape justice in this world”, Odumodublvck wrote.
“You might just have to kill me to shut me up because I will not stop till I get justice”, he added.
Odumodublvck also took another swipe at Oseni, writing, “When the truth finally comes out, I go change your name to Peter Rufai. Go work for NFF, no be journalist you be. You be sports director; you play too much.”

Oseni responded to Odumodublvck’s criticism by offering him an opportunity to present his side of the story.
Sharing a screenshot of the rapper’s post on Instagram, the journalist wrote, “Dear Odumodublvck, I have given you a chance for your right of reply to the interview I had with Blaqbonez. As it is customary and ethical you take the right of reply. You are welcome anytime!”
He added, “Just let me know! I will be happy to welcome you!”
The exchange comes as the dispute between Odumodublvck and Blaqbonez continues to play out publicly, with both artistes maintaining different accounts of the events that led to their fallout.
