Osimhen Dedicates Marc Vivien Foe Award To Late Dad

SAN FRANCISCO, June 30, (THEWILL) – Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, has pledged his 2020 best African Ligue 1 player of the year award to the memory of his late father, Patrick Osimhen, who was buried last week.

The striker took to his social media handle to also appreciate everyone who had stood by him throughout his career.

“Grateful to GOD for almighty I dedicate this amazing award to my late father… Thanks to those who voted for me and also a big shoutout goes to @Simon27Moses and the rest of the nominees… Thank you once more ” he tweeted.

THEWILL reports that the award is Osimhen’s first since he joined the French Ligue 1.
