August 21, (THEWILL) — Nigerian music veteran, 2Baba, has announced plans to release a new album titled “Oldest Young Man”.
The singer shared the news on Instagram on Thursday, August 20, alongside photos of himself.
“I’ve lived it. I’ve seen it. I’m still here. My new album, OLDEST YOUNG MAN, soon come”, he wrote.
2Baba has not yet announced a release date or shared the tracklist for the project.
“Oldest Young Man” will follow his eighth studio album, “Warriors”, which was released in February 2020. The 13-track album featured artists including Burna Boy, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Olamide and Peruzzi.
His last studio album came after a career spanning more than two decades. 2Baba began his solo career after the breakup of Plantashun Boiz and released his debut album, “Face 2 Face,” in 2004.
The album included “African Queen”, one of his biggest songs and a track that helped establish him as one of Nigeria’s leading pop stars.
He went on to release albums including “Grass 2 Grace”, “The Unstoppable”, “Away & Beyond”, “The Ascension”, “Rewind, Select, Update” and “Warriors”.
With “Oldest Young Man”, fans are now waiting for more details about the project and its release date.
