August 10, (THEWILL) — Nigerian music star Innocent “2Baba” Idibia has unfollowed his wife, Natasha Osawaru, on Instagram days after a reported confrontation at a nightclub in Abuja.
The incident reportedly occurred on Friday, August 7, 2026, during the opening of 90s Lounge, where 2Baba was billed to perform.
Videos from the scene showed a commotion involving the singer, Natasha, and security personnel, although the footage did not clearly show what triggered the incident.
According to reports, Natasha approached 2Baba’s vehicle at the venue and attempted to speak with him. The situation reportedly escalated, leading to the intervention of security personnel and police officers.
Following the incident, reports circulated that 2Baba told Natasha he was no longer interested in continuing the relationship. Neither party has publicly confirmed the claim.
Checks on Instagram showed that 2Baba no longer follows Natasha, while she was still following him at the time of the report.
In another development, 2Baba and his former wife, actress Annie Macaulay Idibia, have followed each other again on Instagram.
The former couple had unfollowed each other after their separation, and their renewed connection has sparked fresh reactions online.
Notably, Annie’s Instagram profile still carries the name Annie Idibia, though the name change was not recent.
2Baba announced his separation from Annie in January 2025, ending their 13-year marriage. He later confirmed his relationship with Natasha, an Edo State lawmaker, and the pair held a private traditional wedding in July 2025.
In October 2025, a video of the singer being escorted by UK police went viral, sparking reports that he had been arrested following an alleged altercation with Natasha.

The incident also led to reports that he missed a scheduled concert in London. 2Baba later denied the arrest claim, saying his absence from the concert was due to a medical emergency.

The incident occurred while the singer’s former associates were discussing his personal life and career.
The recent Instagram changes have further fueled speculation about 2Baba’s relationship with Natasha. However, neither of them has publicly confirmed a separation or addressed the reported nightclub incident.
