Since Wednesday, August 19, 2026, the official kick-off of the presidential and National Assembly campaigns, and with the approaching September 9, 2026, electioneering date for the governorship and assembly candidates, three major political parties continue to dominate the polity in three vital areas: Issues, personality, and mobilisation.
