BEVERLY HILLS, November 18, (THEWILL) –Barely 24 hours after a market was bombed in Yola, Adamawa State, two deadly explosions have occurred at a popular electronics market in Kano metropolis, Northwestern Nigeria.

The market, which is located at Farm Centre, is popular for GSM phones and other electronics.
Eyewitness said two female suicide bombers detonated their explosives, one at the first gate leading into the market and the second at the main entrance.
The State police commissioner, Alhaji Muhammad Katsina who visited the market said 15 persons were killed as well as the two suicide bombers. 53 other persons were injured, he added. However, witnesses speaking anonymously put the number of deaths at about 20.
THEWILL recalls that a similar attack at the market last year left several persons dead and others with injuries.
