We’ve Not Fixed Date For Presidential Election Judgement – PEPC

August 28, (THEWILL) – The Presidential Elections Petition Court (PEPC), Abuja, has debunked reports that it has fixed September 16, to deliver judgement on the petition challenging the election of President Bola Tinubu.

Some media (excluding THEWILL), on Monday, reported that the PEPC has fixed September 16 to deliver judgement on the Petitions filed by presidential candidates of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi and his counterpart in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, challenging the victory of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the last election.

A source in the PEPC said the court has not fixed any date to deliver judgement.

“The news is fake. Date has not been set”, the source told NewsBand Newspaper.
