King Charles Hospitalised For Prostate Surgery

January 26, (THEWILL) – Britain’s King Charles III has been admitted to a London hospital for a procedure to treat an enlarged prostate, Buckingham Palace confirmed on Friday.

The 75-year-old king will be treated at the London Clinic where the Princess of Wales is recovering after undergoing abdominal surgery.

The Palace had last week announced that King Charles III’s public engagements would be postponed for a short period as he was set to attend hospital for treatment for an enlarged prostate.

“The King was this morning admitted to a London hospital for scheduled treatment.

“His Majesty would like to thank all those who sent their good wishes over the past week, and is delighted to learn the diagnosis is having a positive impact on public health awareness,” the palace said in a statement on Friday.
