September 03, (THEWILL) — Nigerian singer Victony has made a major mark on the Billboard charts, with 10 songs appearing at the same time on the U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart for the week ending September 5, 2026.

The achievement comes shortly after the release of his sophomore album, “STARLIFE.” Released on August 21, the 15-track project is Victony’s latest full-length release and follows his 2024 debut album, “Stubborn.” In 2025, he released the eight-track project “Very Stubborn.”

“STARLIFE” features collaborations with BNXN, Blaqbonez, YKB, Babyboy AV, Young Jonn and FOLA. The album also includes songs such as “SLICK” and “FRE$H,” which had already gained attention before its release.

On the latest Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart, “SLICK” leads Victony’s entries at No. 2. The song had previously peaked at No. 3 before moving up to No. 2.

“FRE$H” follows at No. 21, while “2FRESH” debuted at No. 26. “WHO THIS,” featuring BNXN, entered at No. 29.

The album’s title track, “STARLIFE,” featuring Blaqbonez and YKB, debuted at No. 34. “TOO LIT” followed at No. 40, while “PINO,” featuring Babyboy AV, landed at No. 41.

Victony also placed “TWIN,” featuring FOLA, at No. 47. “ARMED & DANGEROUS,” featuring Young Jonn, debuted at No. 48, while “FYNE” completed the 10-song run at No. 50.

The Billboard performance gives “STARLIFE” a strong start in the United States. The album also debuted at No. 20 on the Billboard World Albums chart, giving Victony his first appearance on the chart.

The project has also drawn attention for its mix of Afrobeats, R&B and other sounds.

The FADER described “STARLIFE” as a smoother and more freeing project, while noting Victony’s willingness to explore different musical styles.

Victony’s current Billboard run also builds on the success of “SLICK.”
