November 21, (THEWILL) – Legendary golfer Tiger Woods is making progress in his recovery from leg injuries sustained in his single car auto crash, and the 45-year-old shared a video of himself striking golf balls on a course on social media on Sunday.
Woods captioned the video “Making progress,” and could be seen hitting a golf ball with a bucket of balls sitting nearby on the grass.
THEWILL recalls that Woods’ rehab was “progressing.” according to Ryder Cup skipper Steve Stricker, who issued an update in September.
Woods is recovering from serious leg injuries sustained in that single-car accident in February in Southern California. As THEWILL reported, the 45-year-old had open fractures in the top and lower regions of his right leg, as well as damage to his foot and ankle that necessitated the use of screws and pins.
Woods’ crash, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, was caused by his driving at a hazardous speed of 75 miles per hour when his vehicle collided with a tree.
In December 2020, Woods and his son, Charlie, competed in the PNC Championship’s father-son event. Prior to it, he last competed in an official tournament in November at the 2020 Masters.
