August 07, (THEWILL) — Nollywood actor Charles Okocha has suggested that music duo Peter Okoye (Mr P) and Paul Okoye (Rudeboy) settle their long-running feud in a boxing ring instead of continuing to exchange words on social media.
Okocha made the suggestion during an interview on Max FM, where he said the public disagreements between the former P-Square members had gone on for too long.
According to the actor, a boxing match would give the brothers a chance to put their differences behind them while providing entertainment for fans.
“Rude Boy and Mr. P should get into the ring. Let them get into the ring and settle all these, you know, coming out, talking, talking. It is becoming too much. It makes no sense at their age,” he said.
He added that a boxing event could turn the dispute into entertainment rather than hostility.

He added, “They should just do whatever it is to squash their beef. If it’s possible to squash it out on the ring, no problem. It’s called entertainment because a lot of people will buy tickets, people will come watch. That’s why it’s called entertainment. There’s no room for animosity or hate.”
Okocha also said he does not believe in taking personal disagreements to social media, arguing that family and private issues should be handled away from the public.
“I’m that type of person, I don’t hate people. You think I don’t have issues? But have you ever seen me come out on social media to fight? If I can’t squash it in there, why would I even come out?
“People that don’t even know about how we live our lives, and then I’m coming out to put it out there… so no, it makes no sense,” he said.
His comments come amid renewed tension between the twin brothers following a series of allegations made by Mr P in his ongoing tell-all video series about the P-Square family feud.

The dispute has also involved their elder brother, Jude Okoye, over alleged financial misconduct, royalties, company management, and family relationships.
Okocha’s remarks also follow his recent appearance in the celebrity boxing event where he defeated singer Portable in a rematch after the latter was disqualified for leaving the ring.
