August 22, (THEWILL) — Hull City announced their return to the Premier League in emphatic fashion, defeating Manchester United 2-0 at the MKM Stadium and producing one of the biggest shocks of the opening weekend.
At the centre of the historic victory was Nigerian international Semi Ajayi, who scored Hull’s opening goal and immediately gave the home supporters a moment to remember on the club’s return to the English top flight.
