January 05, (THEWILL) – Security agencies have arrested some suspects in connection with the Christmas Eve attacks on Barkin Ladi and Bokkos Local Government Areas of Plateau State.
THEWILL had reported that gunmen suspected to be bandits on Christmas Eve, attacked 15 villages in Bokkos and Barkin Ladi Local Government Areas of Plateau, killing hundreds of people while razing about 221 houses.
Speaking on Thursday night in Jos, the Plateau State capital Spokesperson of the Plateau State Police Command, DSP Alfred Alabo, said some suspects have been arrested in connection with the attack.
Alabo said details of the development will be disclosed in a statement this Friday.
