October 8, (THEWILL) – Popular Nigerian content creators, Peller and Jarvis, have announced that they are expecting their first child together, two months after they got married in a civil ceremony in Lagos.
The couple announced the pregnancy on Instagram on Thursday, sharing photographs of themselves posing together with Jarvis’ baby bump.
In the photographs, the couple were dressed in matching white outfits and stood against an ocean backdrop on a beach as they celebrated what they described as a new chapter in their lives.
Jarvis, in a message accompanying the photographs, reflected on the couple’s journey from being partners to becoming husband and wife and now expecting their first child.
“From two people who once had no idea where this journey would take us… to husband and wife, and now soon-to-be parents. A little piece of our love is coming into this world. Our greatest blessing. Our answered prayer”, she wrote.
The couple also described their journey as one filled with “laughter, tears, prayers and growth,” adding that God had continued to write their story through every stage.
Pregnancy Speculation
The pregnancy announcement comes after the couple faced public scrutiny shortly after their July 29 civil wedding in Lagos.
Some fans had speculated that Jarvis was pregnant, citing changes in her appearance and physical features. The couple, however, dismissed the claims at the time.
They explained that Jarvis’ weight gain was linked to late-night meals rather than pregnancy.
