These are to restore Nigeria’s unity through Equity, Social justice, and Cooperation – establish a strong and effective government that guarantees the safety and security of life and property.

Others are to build a strong, resilient and prosperous economy that creates jobs and lifts people out of poverty, promote a true federal system, which will provide a strong Federal Government, to guarantee national unity while allowing the federating units to set their own priorities and also spearhead education reform so it is driven by innovation, science and technology.

The PDP Cross River State Presidential Campaign Council was led by the leader of the Party in the State, Senator Liyel Imoke, along with notable Party chieftains including Sen. Gershom Bassey, the Chair, CRS PCC and the National Women Leader, Prof Stella Effa-Attoe.

Leader of the delegation and Deputy Director General of the Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign Council, His Excellency, Senator Liyel Imoke, said only PDP has the solutions to the present bad governance and leadership.

He also stated that whatever they have been reechoing bears repetition, as Atiku/Okowa presidency remains the only viable option for Nigeria.

In his words, “The APC has failed the people on all sides and, therefore, unworthy to be entrusted with power again at the federal and state levels”, he said.

He cautioned the people against a resort to ethnic sentiments in their voting decisions, declaring that votes wasted on Labour Party and other mushroom parties would amount to conferring advantage on the rudderless APC and reinforcing failure.

Welcoming the people, Senator Gershom Bassey told the crowd of supporters that APC at the national level has failed, stating that the present administration has incurred debts in trillions of dollars.

Ntufam Ekpo Okon and Ntufam Etta Mbora also reminded them that if there’s any chance of redeeming the present situation, then PDP should be voted back to power at all levels.

The National Women leader, Prof Stella Effa Attoe, said this administration of APC is the worst ever and people should not miss the opportunity.
