Osun Assembly Polls: PDP Wins Ede North State Constituency

March 19, (THEWILL) – The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Babajide Kofoworola, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), as the winner of the Osun State House of Assembly election in Ede North State Constituency

INEC Returning Officer for the election, Prof. Popoola Bayode, who announced the results, said Kofoworola polled 17,530 votes to defeat his closest rival in the All Progressive Congress (APC), Abdulquadri Suleiman, who scored 9,010, while the Labour party (LP) secured 13 votes.
