September 12, (THEWILL) – Lady Gaga and her fiancé, tech entrepreneur Michael Polansky, have welcomed their first child, according to PEOPLE.
The 40-year-old singer was recently spotted on a walk in California carrying the newborn close to her chest in a beige sling. Gaga, dressed casually in sunglasses, a cardigan and printed trousers, was seen walking alongside Polansky and a group of friends.
The sighting came shortly after reports confirmed that the couple had welcomed their first baby.
Gaga and Polansky, 42, are said to be enjoying their new roles as parents. A source told PEOPLE that the couple “both beam when they talk about being parents” and described Polansky as appearing happier since becoming a father.

They have largely kept their relationship and family life away from the public eye.
The name, sex and exact date of birth of the child have not been disclosed.
Gaga and Polansky were first linked in 2020 after they were photographed together at a New Year’s Eve party in Las Vegas. They later made their relationship public, with Gaga sharing a photo of the pair on Instagram in February 2020.
Their relationship became more serious over the following years, and Gaga confirmed their engagement in July 2024 while attending the Paris Olympics in France.
The singer has spoken openly about her desire to become a mother for several years.
In 2019, Gaga said having children was part of her plans as she discussed her hopes for the future. She later spoke about motherhood during a 2020 interview with InStyle, describing her excitement about having children.
More recently, in an October 2025 appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Gaga said she hoped motherhood would be her “next starring role.”
“I would like to do many things,” she said at the time. “But what I really want is to be a mom.”
Polansky has also spoken about their relationship and their plans for the future. In a 2025 interview with Rolling Stone, he said the couple were looking forward to starting a family together and indicated that they preferred a small, private wedding rather than a large ceremony.
