March 01, (THEWILL) – Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, is expected to address Nigerians and the international community, following the declaration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), as the winner of the February 25 presidential election.
Obi disclosed this on Wednesday afternoon, in a post via his verified Twitter handle.

The INEC Chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu, who announced the results of the polls, said Tinubu polled 8,794,726 votes to beat Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who got 6,984,520, and Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP), who secured 6,101,533 votes.
Reacting to the development on Wednesday afternoon, Obi promised to address Nigerians and the international community soon.
“Our vice presidential candidate, Dr. Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, is addressing an international press conference at the Labour Party Headquarters in Abuja.
“I intend to address Nigerians and the international community shortly,” the tweet read.
