August 12, (THEWILL) — Four years after “19 & Dangerous” introduced Ayra Starr to the world, the singer is getting ready to release “Starr Girl”, her third studio album, on August 14.
The album comes after “The Year I Turned 21”, which showed another side of the singer and helped grow her audience beyond Nigeria. But “Starr Girl” feels different. Ayra is older now, more experienced and sure of the kind of music she wants to make.
Across 16 tracks, she has described the album as her most personal and fearless project yet. With new sounds, new collaborations and 11 unreleased tracks waiting for listeners, “Starr Girl” looks set to show just how much Ayra Starr has changed since her last album.
