January 20, (THEWILL) – The Acting Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Udi Local Government Area of Enugu State, SKB Ogbuagu, is dead.
A party source, who confirmed the sad incident said Ogbuagu collapsed on Thursday evening, during a town hall meeting of the governorship candidate of the party held at the Ezeagu Local Government Area headquarters.
The source said the deceased, who was an asthma patient, had a crisis after the meeting and was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where he died.
However, the State chapter of the party has not issued a statement on the development. Chairman of the PDP in Enugu, Augustine Nnamani, is yet to respond to calls and messages put to his phone at the time of filing the report.
