El-Rufai’s Son Warns Of Possible Upset In 2027 Elections, Says Nobody Too Big To Be Voted Out Of Office

July 10, (THEWILL) – Bashir El-Rufai, son of the former governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, has warned that an upset could happen in the 2027 general elections without any consequences, saying nobody is too big to be voted out of office by the people.

Bashir, who made this known on Wednesday, in a post on his X handle, said that people should forget all the intimidations “flying up and down”, saying they should be patient.

He said even the IMF and the World Bank will not save the “people” when the time comes, adding: “Political strategist una. That one na for Lagos.”

The post reads: “Nobody is too big to be elected out of office by the people. It will happen & wallahi nothing will happen. So forget all these intimidations flying up and down. Let us be patient.

“Even the IMF & World Bank no go save una that time. Political strategist una. That one na for Lagos.

“I didn’t call names o, but due to their guilt, they already know who is being spoken about. Wallahi, none of you will force anyone to support this utter failure of governance disguised as useless, dangerous ethnocentric political strategy.”

THEWILL reports that Nasir El-Rufai is currently embroiled in a legal battle with the current administration in Kaduna State.

El-Rufai had on June 26, approached the Federal High Court in Kaduna to challenge the probe report of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, which indicted him for alleged misappropriation of N432 billion during his eight years of administration.

The immediate past governor of Kaduna State has also been reported to be involved in a series of political alliances to challenge President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.
