September 15, (THEWILL) – Operatives of the Benin Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), have raided a coaching Centre for internet fraudsters (Yahoo Boys) in the Edo State capital.
A statement by the anti-graft agency, said the raid followed an actionable intelligence on the coaching centre a.k.a HK.
The Proprietors of the Centre, Osagie Ogiemwonyi and Onukwugho Favour, as well as seven of their “students”, were arrested during a raid on the facility on Tuesday.
The seven arrested students are Destiny Ohikwugbe, Chata Okoro, Ighodaro Omede, Ehigie Idemudia, Lawrence Daniel, Raymond Ogiemwonyi Oghosa and Henry Philip.
Items recovered from the suspects include a Mercedes Benz GLK, Lexus 350, phones and laptops.
