March 19, (THEWILL) – The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Cross River State has taken a clear lead of over 63,000 votes in the results released from fourteen out of eighteen Local Government Areas in the State.
In the fourteen LGAs, Prince Otu of the APC polled 198,750, while his closest rival, Professor Sandy Onor of the PDP scored 134,837.
Results of the Local Government Areas released so far are Obubra, Biase, Abi, Bakassi, Bekwarra, Ogoja, Yala, Calabar South, Akpabuho, Calabar Municipality, Ikom, Odukpani Yakurr, and Etung.
Details of the results show that the APC candidate won eleven LGAs while the PDP won three — Ikom, Ogoja and Bekwarra.
