The Lagos State Government has intensified preparedness for a possible Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) outbreak as health authorities step up vigilance following the expanding Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), which has become the country’s largest Ebola outbreak on record.

Marked FHC/ABJ/CS/1888/2026, the suit was instituted by former Vice President and presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Atiku Abubakar, with the ADC joined as the second plaintiff.

The initiative operates in direct partnership with the Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation and the Federal Ministry of Education while led by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment through the National Talent Export Programme (NATEP).
