August 10, (THEWILL) — Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate Neche has emerged as the third Head of House of the ongoing reality show.
She won the Week 3 HOH challenge on Monday, August 10, after defeating Chimsom Chuka in the final round. Her victory gives her immunity from this week’s eviction and places her in charge of the house for the week.
Following her victory, Neche selected Sultex as her deputy. Sultex was then given the opportunity to choose a housemate to join him in the Head of House loft and picked Oyin.
The arrangement is part of the changes introduced to the HOH system this season, giving housemates a different set of privileges and responsibilities compared with previous editions.
The latest challenge came after the house lost Martins and Mercedes during Sunday’s double eviction.
The Week 3 nomination process has now left 16 housemates facing possible eviction. Cassi and Bluethopia secured safety, while Chimsom retained immunity through his Most Influential Player status.
Neche is also protected as the current HOH, while the Gambits, Aikou, and Flora, are also safe, bringing the total number of protected housemates to six.

Meanwhile, Nomy continues to serve as the house’s bench warmer after receiving a strike on Sunday night, for repeatedly refusing to follow Big Brother’s instructions.
She was initially given the bench-warmer punishment after her performance in the Week 2 HOH challenge. Big Brother ordered her to wear a punishment vest, carry a designated bench-warmer seat and complete other assigned tasks.

After she continued to disregard the instructions, Big Brother escalated the punishment and issued her a formal strike.
Season 11, tagged “Show Ya Self,” began with 24 housemates, and with 22 now remaining, they continue competing for the grand prize. The season has already introduced several twists and changes to the usual format, keeping the housemates under pressure as they compete for safety and a place in the final.
With Neche now holding the HOH position, attention will turn to how she uses her new authority and how the 16 nominated housemates navigate the week ahead.
