September 15, (THEWILL) – Barry has emerged as the Week 8 Head of House in the ongoing Big Brother Naija Season 11 ‘Show Ya Sef’ edition.
He secured the title on Monday, September 14, after defeating Keivo in the final stage of the Head of House challenge.
His victory came with more than the usual HoH privileges, as Big Brother also named him the season’s Ultimate Veto Power holder and first confirmed finalist.
As Head of House, Barry chose Keivo as his Loft Mate. However, his biggest advantage came with the Ultimate Veto Power, which allowed him to influence the week’s eviction process.

During the nomination session, Big Brother allowed the housemates to make a case for why they deserved immunity. After hearing their pitches, Barry chose to save Aikou from possible eviction.
Big Brother subsequently placed the remaining housemates up for possible eviction this week.

With Barry already guaranteed a place in the finale and Aikou saved from eviction, 11 housemates are now at risk of leaving the competition.
Barry’s qualification comes just one day after the show recorded a double eviction.
Abi and Araga were evicted during Sunday’s live show, reducing the number of housemates to 13 before the Week 8 HoH challenge.
The Season 11 winner is set to receive a ₦160 million grand prize, with the show now entering its final weeks.
With 11 housemates facing possible eviction this week, the competition is set for another tense eviction round as the remaining contestants continue their fight for a place in the finale.
