BEVERLY HILLS, August 22, (THEWILL) – The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, on Saturday declared that the style of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, is not being of help to the country.
It stated this while reacting to the claim by the APC National Chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun that N33tn of oil revenue was unaccounted for throughout the five years of former President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration.
Spokesman of the PDP, Prince Dayo Adeyeye, who stated this in a statement issued in Abuja, said that Oyegun’s statement has once more “portrayed the ruling party as being dangerously obsessed with the frivolity of bamboozling Nigerians with high-sounding figures only for entertainment purposes.”
“Unfortunately, such avoidable mischief especially on issues bordering on the nation’s economy, has continued to hunt the image of our Nation at a time we are in desperate need of investment from the international community,” the statement added.
