SAN FRANCISCO, July 03, (THEWILL) – Governors of the All Progressives Congress (APC) say they have accepted Senator Bukola Saraki and Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara, as Senate President and Speaker of the House of Representatives, respectively.
Chairman of the APC Governors’ Forum and Imo State Governor, Mr. Rochas Okorocha, who briefed journalists in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital city, on Friday night after a meeting of the forum, said the governors also resolved to intervene in the crisis amongst members of the party at the National Assembly.
“Peace has returned to our party… We want peace at the National Assembly. We will work things out. Senator Saraki, Senator Lawan, Hon. Dogara and Hon. Gbajabiamila have all agreed to work together…. We will give you details of the arrangement next week,” Okorocha said.
