SAN FRANCISCO, June 22, (THEWILL) – The Super Falcons home kit at the 2019 Women’s World Cup in France has been nominated for best jersey at the tournament.
The world governing football body announced this on the FIFA’s Women’s World Cup verified Twitter handle.
FIFA also selected the jerseys of Australia, Norway and Germany. The governing body said the jerseys selected were the ones mentioned the most during the tournament adding that it organized a poll to allow fans choose their favorite.
THEWILL recalls that the Super Falcons lost to the Germans in the round of 16 in the tournament. Nigeria’s female soccer kit designed by Nike has continued to receive positive remarks.
