February 02, (THEWILL) – Vice President Kashim Shettima has lost his stepmother, Hajja Hauwa Abba Kormi.
A statement by Stanley Nkwocha, Spokesman of the Vice-President, said Kormi, who died on Thursday morning after a prolonged illness at the age of 69, is survived by five children, many stepchildren and grandchildren.
Hajia Kormi was buried on Thursday at 4 pm at Shettimari, Lawan Bukar, Maiduguri, Borno State.
The statement prayed that “Almighty Allah forgive her shortcomings and admit her to Jannatul Firdaus, Amen.”
