US Congress Honours Sinach

October 05, (THEWILL) – Osinachi Joseph, better known as Sinach, has been honoured by the US congress with a letter of commendation.

The musician disclosed this in a post on her Instagram page where she shared a report on the recognition letter.

In the letter, the lawmaker representing Texas constituency, Sheila Jackson Lee, stated that Sinach was honoured for her “tireless efforts” to propagate the gospel.

Glo

Lee, who signed the recognition letter, also applauded the Nigerian singer for the success of her recent concert held in Houston.

The concert, titled ‘Sinach: Night of Worship Houston Texas,’ featured international gospel singers, including Micah Stamply, Dee Jones, Da’dra Greathouse, and Todd Dulaney.

“Through your efforts, the body of Christ is able to reach a higher level of praise and worship. They have the freedom, through song, to discover their destiny and maximize their hidden potential through communion with the one true God,” it read.

“Indeed, your tireless efforts are completely deserving of the respect, administration, and commendation of the United States Congress.”

The lawmaker also praised Sinach for using the power of music to bring the world together.

“Music is one of the most important and powerful things in life. It brings people together and allows us to experience the same emotions. People everywhere are the same in heart and spirit.

“No matter what language we speak, what color we are, the form of our politics, or the expression of our love and our faith, music proves; we are all human beings. Thank you for spreading this universal language throughout the world,” the letter read.
