Two England supporters seriously injured in football violence in Marseille during Euro 2016 remain in a coma.

Andrew Bache, 51, and Stewart Gray, 47, are in a “stable condition” but still fighting for their lives, French officials have confirmed.

They were two of 35 mainly English victims of the violence on June 11 ahead of the Euro 2016 clash between England and Russia, much of which has been blamed on Russian supporters.

Marseille prosecutor Brice Robin said investigators were still searching for the attackers in the two cases “which are considered attempted murder”.
