August 18, (THEWILL)- President Bola Tinubu, on Friday, met with Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Although details of the meeting are sketchy, THEWILL reports that Mba’s visit to the Villa is coming exactly eight days after a meeting of the South-East Governors in Enugu, on Thursday, August 10.
The Governors had pledged to work with the Federal Government to ensure the security of the region and as well end the sit-at-home order declared by Finland-based factional Leader of IPOB, Sam Ekpa.
Governor Mbah was also part of the National Economic Council (NEC) meeting, which was presided over by Vice President Kashim Shettima on Thursday.
