September 14, (THEWILL) – President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Aliyu Tijani Ahmed as the new Federal Commissioner/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons (NCFRMI).
The new appointment was announced in a statement issued on Thursday, by Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale.
Ahmed holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Sociology and has previously served the Nasarawa State Government as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG); Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs; and Commissioner for Education.
The appointment takes immediate effect.
