Tambari Yabo Bi-Annual Colloquium To Host Experts On National Development

November 30, (THEWILL) – Experts across Nigeria are set to converge in Sokoto state, the seat of the caliphate, to brainstorm an effective political and economic formula, suitable for national development.

The experts would be hosted at the fourth series of Engineer Zayyanu Tambari Yabo’s bi-annual national colloquium scheduled for 16th December, 2023, in Sokoto.

In a statement issued to Journalists in Sokoto by the Chairman, Colloquium’s Local Organising Committee (LOC), Dr Abubakar Umar Kari, said this year’s event would dwell into finding an effective political and economic formula for national development.

He said the fourth biannual colloquium is titled: ‘Nigeria in search of an effective political and economic formula for national development.’

“The bi-annual event, designed as a charity and give-back-to-the community event, has over the years been serving as eye opener for national discourse to contribute to nation-building, re-orientation platform for educating the nation’s future leaders and a stimulus for attitudinal and behavioural change for sustainable positive impact in nation-building.

The fourth series of the National Colloquium 2023 is to venture into finding an effective political and economic formula for national development, scheduled to hold on Saturday, 16th of December 2023.

Kari recalls that the first and second colloquiums featured high impact presentations and discourse on the role of culture and communication in national development and the role of energy in nation-building respectively, while the third series was on sustainable environment as enabler for national growth.

The convener of the colloquium, Engineer Zayyanu Tambari Yabo, is a fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers and also a fellow of the Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers.
