The Kano State chapter of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has urged its members to remain calm following the omission of its governorship candidate, Comrade Aminu Gwarzo, from the final list of candidates released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The Foundation for Digital Justice and Sustainable Development filed the action at the Federal High Court on October 5, alleging that TikTok restricted access in Kano, Kaduna, Kebbi and Sokoto. It wants the court to order the company to restore service and declare the alleged restrictions a violation of users’ rights.

Senator Sumaila made the remarks on Sunday while presenting his Scorecard to the media at a Forum organised by the Kano Correspondents' Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists(NUJ) in partnership with the Office of the distinguished Senator.

The suspect, identified as Adam Musa Adam, a Nigerian passport holder, was arrested after arriving in Kano from New Delhi aboard Ethiopian Airlines Flight ET941.
