Taekwondo Olympian, Jack Woolley, Savagely Attacked In Dublin Ireland

August 15, (THEWILL) – A deranged, unprompted and violent attack on Irish Olympian Jack Woolley by a stranger left the 22-year-old covered in blood and in need of facial reconstructive surgery on Saturday. The assault which came “out of the blue” occurred at the Dublin City Centre in the early hours of the morning.

Woolley was in Team Ireland at the recently concluded Summer Games in Tokyo, Japan and represented the Irish in the taekwondo events.

The bloody attack left him needing facial reconstructive surgery after he was taken to Dublin’s St. James’ Hospital. The attack was savage and the Olympian’s worried mother, Annette, explained how she understood what happened: “He was just standing near the Ha’Penny Bridge around 12.30am with his two friends and some fella just came up and attacked him out of the blue. “He is trying to tell me he is alright.
