January 16, (THEWILL) – Pastor Sam Adeyemi, the founder and senior pastor of Daystar Christian Centre, Oregun, Lagos State and his wife, Nike, made a grand entrance to the church over the weekend.
The clergy and his amiable wife abandoned the church in 2020. They were in Canada for vacation in 2020 when the Federal Government declared a lockdown across the nation due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
After the travel restriction was lifted, the Adeyemis did not return to their base in Nigeria. They allegedly shuttled between Canada and the United States, where their children were schooling.
The clergy usually preaches through a pre-recorded message that would be played from a projector at the Oregun church in Lagos.
There was jubilation in the congregation when the man of God showed up and took over the pulpit over the weekend.
Adeyemi was garbed in a simple white shirt and trousers, while his wife had a knee-length Ankara gown on.
The congregation couldn’t stop screaming for a couple of minutes, as they were excited about the return of their clergy back to his Nigeria base.
