August 07, (THEWILL) — Singer Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy, has reacted after his twin brother, Peter Okoye, also known as Mr P, alleged that their late mother, Josephine Okoye, mistreated his wife, Lola Omotayo-Okoye.
Paul’s response came after Peter released the eighth episode of his ongoing tell-all video series about the P-Square family feud.
In the video, Peter claimed that a family meeting was held at his Omole residence shortly after Lola gave birth to their first son.
According to him, their late mother, brothers Jude, Paul and Tony, as well as some pastors, confronted Lola and asked her to “leave our son alone.”
Peter further alleged that neither he nor Lola was offered a seat during the meeting, forcing them to sit on the floor.

He claimed Jude repeatedly shouted, “Leave our son alone,” before making a derogatory remark in Igbo, referring to their infant son as a “bastard.
Peter said Lola broke down in tears and was eventually kicked out of the house.
Peter also alleged that Paul and Jude strongly opposed Lola’s pregnancy and made several attempts to end their relationship.
However, he said their mother later accepted his son as her grandson, embraced Lola as “our wife,” and urged Paul and Jude to apologize for how they had treated the couple.
According to Peter, only his brothers Henry Okoye and Tony Okoye apologized, while Paul and Jude refused.
He also maintained that Lola cared for their mother during her illness, spending long hours with her in the hospital before her death.
Reacting to the claims, Paul shared a brief message on his social media pages on Friday, writing,
“Unfortunately, you’re not here to defend yourself. Continue resting, Mum.” He did not directly address any of the specific allegations made by his brother.

The latest exchange is the newest chapter in the long-running dispute involving the former P-Square members and their elder brother, Jude Okoye.
In recent months, Peter has ,levelled several allegations over family relationships, finances and the management of the group’s affairs.
Jude has denied key claims, insisting that many of the issues are already before the court, while Paul has largely stayed away from the public exchanges, with his management maintaining that he remains focused on his music career.
