Rohr Calls Up Ejuke, Dessers, Others for Ivory Coast, Tunisia Friendlies

SAN FRANCISCO, September 21, (THEWILL) – Gernot Rohr, Super Eagles coach, on Monday called up six new players amongst the 25 he invited to camp as the team prepares for the October international friendlies with Cote d’Ivoire and Tunisia. The two games will be played in Austria.

Some of the new players invited for the friendlies include Chidera Ejuke (CSKA Moscow) and Genk striker, Cyriel Dessers.

Other uncapped players are; Goalkeeper Matthew Yakubu, recent FC Porto signing, Zaidu Sanusi as well as Samson Tijani and Frank Onyeka who are midfielders.

The regulars like Captain Ahmed Musa, Alex Iwobi, Kenneth Omeruo, William Troost-Ekong, Wilfred Ndidi and Oghenekaro Etebo, Ola Aina and Semi Ajayi are part of the list also.
