August 11, (THEWILL) — Real Madrid have made a final decision on Endrick’s future, dealing a blow to Manchester United and Aston Villa, who had been monitoring the Brazilian forward.
The 20-year-old had emerged as a potential loan target for both Premier League clubs as they looked to strengthen their attacking options ahead of the new season.
However, Real Madrid have now decided to keep the highly rated forward at the Bernabeu and give him another opportunity to establish himself in the first-team squad.
According to transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Spanish giants have informed Endrick and his representatives that he will remain with the club.
“Real Madrid inform Endrick and his agents about decision to keep the player at the club”, Romano reported.
“Real management told Roc Nation about the decision to keep Endrick and continue with him in the squad.
“Jose Mourinho also approved the plan.”
The decision represents a setback for Manchester United, who had identified Endrick as one of their potential options to strengthen their attack.
United manager Michael Carrick is still looking to add a centre-forward to his squad, with the club also considering alternatives to Benjamin Sesko and Bryan Mbeumo.
A move to Old Trafford could have offered Endrick the opportunity to play regular Champions League football, while Aston Villa were also reportedly interested in giving him a route into their first-team plans.

Endrick’s Real Madrid future
Endrick joined Real Madrid from Palmeiras in July 2024 and has since made 40 appearances for the club’s first team across all competitions.
The Brazil international spent last season on loan at Lyon, making an immediate impact by scoring a hat-trick on his debut against Metz.
He went on to score eight goals in 21 appearances before earning a place in Brazil’s squad under Carlo Ancelotti.
Despite his impressive development, Endrick’s immediate prospects at Real Madrid appeared uncertain.
With Kylian Mbappe ahead of him in the attacking pecking order, there had been speculation that another loan spell could give the youngster more regular first-team football.
That possibility now appears to have been ruled out.
Real Madrid are understood to remain convinced of Endrick’s long-term potential and believe keeping him around the first-team squad is the best option for his development.
