August 27, (THEWILL) – Veteran Nollywood actress, Rachel Oniga, has been buried in Lagos.
THEWILL recalls that the actress died from heart-related issues on July 30 at the age of 64.
A lying-in-state ceremony was earlier held for the actress at the Catholic Church of Resurrection, Magodo Estate, Lagos.
The actress was later buried in a private cemetery in Lagos.
THEWILL writes that Oniga started her career in 1993 after starring in the blockbuster movie, “Onome.”
In the Yoruba sector of Nollywood, the actress appeared in the hit movie, “Owo Blow.”
