SAN FRANCISCO, June 13, (THEWILL) – President Muhammadu Buhari, on Tuesday evening, met with All Progressives Congress (APC) governors at the State House in Abuja.
The close-door meeting meeting, held inside the conference room of the First Lady’s Office at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa in Abuja, began at 9:00pm, on Tuesday.
Also present at the meeting was the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo.
While details of the meeting are yet to be clear, it began shortly after the President formally made the presumed winner of the June 12, 1993, Presidential election, Grand Commander of the Federal Republic.
The meeting took place ahead of the national convention of the APC scheduled for June 23.
The governors in attendance include those of Kaduna, Adamawa, Edo, Imo, Kwara, Kebbi, Kano, Kogi, Benue, Katsina, Jigawa and Ogun States.
