SAN FRANCISCO, June 26, (THEWILL) – President Muhammadu Buhari has dissolved the board of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), with immediate effect.
The President’s decision was made known in a letter addressed to the board dated June 26, 2015, and signed by the Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Mr. Danladi Kifasi.
The casualties include the Group Managing Director (GMD) of the corporation and all Executive Directors in the state owned oil company that has been hit by several allegations of corruption and mismanagement.

President Muhammadu Buhari has dissolved the board of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) with immediate effect.
The directive to that effect was conveyed in a letter signed today 26th June 2015 by the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Barr.Danladi Kifasi. In it the President thanked members of the dissolved board for their services to the nation.
