Police Confirm Kidnap Of Kaduna PFN Chairman

SAN FRANCISCO, December 27, (THEWILL) – The Police in Kaduna state have confirmed the abduction of the state Chairman of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, Emmanuel Bako and his wife Sandra by gunmen suspected to be kidnappers

The gunmen were said to have kidnapped the cleric at Albarka camp, Fadan Kagoma, near Kafanchan in Jema’a local government area on Friday.

Mohammed Jalige, police public relations officer (PPRO) in the state, who confirmed the kidnap, said effort is on to rescue the victims unhurt.

He reportedly said; “They were kidnapped yesterday, 8pm in the evening alongside his wife Sandra Bako and one other person, Douglas,” he said.

“The hoodlums met them at prayer camp, somewhere in the bush; they went for prayers. They were not the only people in that place, at the prayer camp. They were a lot of people. So with quick intervention of the police the other people were rescued back to Kafanchan.

“It was only the three people that were kidnapped and we are seriously on it trying to see how to rescue the kidnap victims unhurt and possibly to arrest the perpetrators of the crime.”
