BEVERLY HILLS, May 04, (THEWILL) – Police in Kwara State on Monday arrested a suspected ritualist, John Moses, for being in possession of a fresh human head and palms.
The suspect was arrested along Ajase-Ipo/Ilorin road by the security team of Operation Harmony while conducting a search on a commercial bus when the freshly severed human head and palms were discovered in his bag while his partner took to his heels.
A statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, Kwara state police command, SP Ajayi Okasanmi, disclosed that the suspect, John Moses, confessed they killed the victim, Identified as Mohammed, in Ajase Ipo for ritual purposes.
Police added that investigation into the case was ongoing and the suspects would be charged to court as soon as the investigation is concluded.
